Robert J. MacNiven

Mr. MacNiven received his Bachlor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in 1966 and his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1972. He was admitted to the New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey Bar in 1972. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1976. He served as a Middlesex County Assistant prosecutor from 1972 - 1977 during which he was a trial team leader; in charge of the gambling and narcotics task force, prosecutor to the Grand Jury and special prosecutor for high level cases. He currently serves as municipal prosecutor in East Brunswick.

He operated a general practice in East Brunswick for thirty years with an emphases on Matrimonial and Real Estate law. For periods during that time he was counsel for the St. Bart’s Pop Warner football organization, Literacy Volunteers of Middlesex County and sat on the Board of the Allentown Redbirds Pop Warner football organization.

His area of practice is primarily family law in addition to real estate and probate.
