Jason E. Shamy
Mr. Shamy received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1990 and his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law at Camden in 1994.
While earning his Juris Doctor degree he was named Dean's Scholar and was the recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards in the areas of Trial Practice, Advocacy and Torts. He was admitted to the New Jersey, the United States District Court, District of New Jersey and the Pennsylvania Bars in 1994.
He served as Judicial Clerk in both the Civil and Criminal Divisions of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County with the Hon. Yolanda Ciccone and the Hon. Douglas Wolfson. He has served as Public Defender in the Township of Piscataway, the Borough of Jamesburg and the City of New Brunswick and as a Municipal Prosecutor in the Township of East Brunswick, and the Borough of Helmetta. He is currently the Municipal Prosecutor for the Borough of Bradley Beach and the Borough of Deal.
He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America - New Jersey and the New Jersey Bar Association. Mr. Shamy is a Planning Board member in the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach and also sits on the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Commission.
His areas of practice concentration include Civil and Criminal Trials, Personal Injury Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Transactions and Litigation and Appellate Practice.
